Salute to Asma Jahangir: some upcoming memorial meetings
From the Blog beenasarwar Thousands attended her funeral in Lahore on Feb 13 – women, men, rich, poor, workers, lawyers, journalists, farmers, ambassadors, ministers. قلعہ روہتاس کی سیر – فرخ اور رانا عثمان کے ساتھ
From the Blog mbilalm یہ تب کی بات ہے جب ہمیشہ کی طرح وطنِ عزیز تاریخ کے نازک ترین موڑ سے گزر رہا تھا اور انسانیت خطرے میں تھی۔ یہ بات ہے اکیسویں صدی کے بالغ ہونے کی یعنی جب وہ اٹھارہ سال کی ہو چکی تھی اور گاتی پھر رہی تھی "سوہنیا… میں ہو گئی اٹھرہ سال کی"۔ مجھے آج بھی یاد ہے کہ وہ اتوار کا دن تھا، جب راجپوتوں کے سپوت نے اپنے دوستوں کی فوج کے ہمراہ شیرشاہ سوری کے قلعۂ روہتاس پر یلغار کر دی۔ فوج جیسے تیسے دریائے راوی، چناب اور جہلم عبور کر کے روہتاس پہنچی۔ وہاں انسانی روپ میں چھپے بھیڑیئے لڑکیاں تاڑ رہے تھے۔ قلعے میں ایک دوشیزہ نے ہماری طرف اشارہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ← مزید پڑھیںpakistanblogs.blogspot.comRead Full Post
